Does Our Textbooks Cover The Important Trends?

The dollar fell against the Euro. The Chinese have a trillion U.S. dollars. Will monetary policy be run out of Beijing or Washington. We should teach our students that pretty soon the chinese will have veto power over our monetary policy. This is an idea that I do not see in the main parts of many textbooks.
