Last night, I could not sleep as usual and started watching Charlie Rose. He had A discussion about the legacy of Sigmund Freud with Eric Kandel, Aaron Beck, Steven Roose & Peter Fonagy. They are all famous psychologists.

Last 15 minutes are the best. I liked hearing Kandel say that psychoanalysts needed to turn their field over to cognitive psychologists for testing, because analysts and M.D.s have no ability to do science. Or that after only 130 years, psychoanalysis is now beginning to realize that it must join with science to get anywhere. Duh.
