Last night I heard about a post to my ratemyprofessors.com account. He noted that I was a bad instructor since I would not answer an email he sent me. He even included a link to the email. I have to admit I did not answer his question. I politely told him that I would do so once he changed his message to include proper grammar. Can you imagine my nerve? Instructors should not request proper grammar. I would even go so far as to say that we shouldn't even request students to prepare correct answers for homework or exams.
Anyway, I posted my own rating to counter the one left by the disgruntled student. You can follow the link included in this post to see my response.
I read your reply and I liked your reply. My grammar is horrible but I always make an attempt to correct it before sending it out. Students need to learn this skill.
ReplyDeleteFinally I want to thank you for making the first NON-JAVAMAN post.
I hope others will follow your example and post.
