New Documentary Coming

I received this e-mail, which I assumed was spam, but once I started reading, the movie it was describing actually looked very interesting. On a side note, I am half Estonian, so it looks even more interesting to me for that reason, but check out the trailer.

Here's the ad I got:

MOST PEOPLE DON’T THINK ABOUT SINGING WHEN THEY THINK OF REVOLUTIONS, but in Estonia song was the weapon of choice when, between 1986 and 1991, hundreds of thousands of Estonian people gathered to sing forbidden patriotic songs and rally for independence, risking their lives to proclaim their desire for a free country. The Singing Revolution is a documentary film that tells the extraordinary story of the non-violent path Estonia took to free itself from Soviet occupation.

Please watch the trailer and sign-up to bring The Singing Revolution to a theater near you by going to www.singingrevolution.com.

  1. We should have a singing something or another too.
Imagine as we walk down Greenleaf we sing songs. Or teach our class through songs.
