The Improvement of Pico Rivera

According to the L.A. Times, Pico Rivera is greatly improving as a city, with crime significantly down and development way up. Borders and Starbucks have moved into town and home ownership is higher than the average in L.A. County. While our school doesn't get a mention, they did mention that the city borders the Rio Hondo River - close enough!

By the way, the picture included is of an excellent restaurant in Pico Rivera (I haven't been there) called the Dal Rae. It's been around since the late 1950s and has top notch steak. It's on Washington Ave. in Pico Rivera, not far from school.
