Key Questions For Leaders

The link above is to an interview with Robert Kaplan, Harvard Business School professor and author of What to Ask the Person in the Mirror: Critical Questions for Becoming a More Effective Leader and Reaching Your Potential

Listening to this interview made me want to buy this book for our college president. According to the interview and the books' website is:
"Successful leaders know that leadership is less often about having all the answers-and more often about asking the right questions"
I have not seen this because our college President pretends to have all of the answers.  More importantly our college President misses the following advice (again from the book's website):
" The challenge lies in being able to step back, reflect,..."
Again I have not seen this in my interactions with the college president. It is my sincere hope that we will have a new president before the next Articulation process begins. I know he has a tendency to discard all suggestion based on who is making the recommendations and accept flawed suggestions from his friends nicknamed F.O.T. (Friends of Ted) by faculty. I do not have any confidence in this president's ability  to conduct the self study portion of the Accreditation process.
In case you are wondering I did order this book on Amazon and am waiting for its arrival.
