Bragging Rights

On Wednesday, Trustee Norma Garcia proudly posted the following on her Facebook page:

After she voted to accepted Hannah Pastrano's resignation, perhaps the following should be added as well:

No concern for employees, no concern for students' wishes, no police academy, no confidence in the president, no adherence to shared governance, no departure from Andre Quintero, no future endorsements from employees!

Also, I am sick and tired of administrators and trustees bragging that they did not cut salary or benefits. Wake up! You cannot make cuts without first negotiating them. Such references would be akin to a faculty member bragging, "I am still teaching my classes and holding my office hours despite having to do more work with SLOs and planning, and not getting a raise in 3 years!"
