A Source of Inspiration

Tonight we started phone banking at CTA headquarters in Santa Fe Spring. However due to conflict in scheduling, we had to leave the building . We did not give up but went across the street to Geezers and continued calling the voters. We realized that it was Martha's birthday and yet here she was working with us.
I asked "Why are you here on your birthday?"
She said "if we want change then we got to roll up our sleeves and  work for it!"
I am proud to be working with such a dedicated colleague.
