Another example of fine leadership

A high school student tweeted that Kansas Governor Sam Brownback "sucked."  The governor was irked, contacted the school's principle, and the principal demanded that the student write a letter of apology.

Why do so many so-called leaders have such thin skin?

  1. Thanks for the information Vann. I think there is a minor flaw in your question. You asked why "so-called leaders" have such thin skin. I wouldn't even call such people "so-called leaders". They are nothing of the sort. They are bureaucrats who seek to maintain power through intimidation. A leader would not ask the question, "How can I stop a student from saying I suck?" A leader would instead ask, "Why does the student think I suck and how can I reach out to the student to allay his/her concerns?" Apparently they don't teach that in Ed.D. school.
