At Least High School Students Enjoy Protection Provided by the 1st Amendment

Students' free speech rights were affirmed by the Supreme Court.  The posts of two students from Pennsylvania and one from West Virginia were, without a doubt, vulgar and malicious; however, the high court turned away without comment the appeals of the three school districts.

I wonder if there are any cases involving the rights of faculty at public colleges and universities to speak out on the actions of administrators.
