Thursday night as I waited for my night class, I started reading the report by Institute for Higher Education Leadership and Policy. I do not agree with this report completely but I have observed some of their findings among our students. I have noticed that most of our students work long hours with little time left for studying.
I don't agree this is a direct result of lower fees as the report argues, but it is food for thought. I agree with their first criticism that low prices leads to students 'enroll in courses without much forethought' and 'without any financial consequences'.
