Microeconomics Assessment Click Here

This is a writing assignment that I stole from a good friend of mine. I use it to evaluate both the students and myself in my Microeconomics class. I believe this will make a good assessment assignment. However, I prefer coming up with a set of Multiple choice questions that we all can insert into our finals.
The advantage of a multiple choice format is the uniformity. Uniformity of data is very important. I will admit that I grade written assignments twice. Once from start to finish, take a break, (usually a day or 2) and I grade again in the reverse order. I do this to guard against a bad tendency of changing my level of expectation and thereby the level of difficulty. I know there are rubrics but for some reason I have not gotten the hang of it yet! Also the logistic of it will be much simpler so we can get everyone in the discipline to participate.
