Every Thursday Colin, Kevin and I (Mike) go out to eat around Rio Hondo. Today (Wednesday) Colin and I ditched Kevin so we can eat something adventurous. Actually Colin suggested the place. It was called the Golden Triangle. The cuisine was Burmese. The restaurant is operated by real Burmese. They were not wearing Longyi . We know they were Burmese because the T.V. station was tuned into the Burmese channel. The food was excellent. I had Goat Curry. It tasted great. Colin had ribs and claimed it was good. Colin is very picky so it must have been good. We are going to post our reviews on this blog. The Restaurant is located on Greenleaf.
For your next "outing" you might want to try Chesecake Cafe - it's tucked between a quaint donut shop and a laundramat in a well landscaped minimall. It's somewhere in Montebello, near the 60 and Paramount? Next to the laundramat is a liquor storre that has the best selection of locally brewed beer. But ofcourse since you are all teaching that night, I'm sure alcohol is off the menu. Click on the link for the menu and directions. http://www.cheesecakesoul.net/contact.html
