The virtual college has created a course to train the faculty on the new features of Blackboard. Now every faculty member should be enrolled in this course. By completing this course faculty members can receive flex credit. If this program is a success, then I will push to create other courses that faculty can take advantage of for flex credit.
If this succeeds, I see two beneficial outcomes. 1) Flex activity will truly become educational. 2) faculty will gain the perspective of students in an online class.
